No reason that it shouldn't. I don't have the TGF hardtop and I didn't buy one from this company. However I have one to lift the top off of my truck and I have used this to take off the hard top from one of my friends cars so he could store it at my place. It worked just fine. I had to change the straps around a little bit but if you wanted a lift that you could use for trucks and cars I would go with a heavy duty lift like I got. I picked mine up through Rosser Jeep parts. It was made for a Jeep but it works fine for all my uses.
