Scot - you sure they even had electricity(let alone moving pictures) when you were "young & supple"??

If only our idiosyncrasies could hold a candle to all that "shaking-rattling & rolling" that So.Cal. is noted for, then maybe we could provide for more interesting landscape like So.Cal. - ie. flat-dry & barren and full of sagebrush and rattlesnakes, scorpions(not to mention sun drenched beaches and bikini clad lovelies).

Lead on "ol guru"

I saw an ad if the paper today. Just really glanced past it but I believe it said that all new chryslers where going to be offered with a 7 year 70,000 mile warranty. I'm not 100% sure that's what it said. Maybe it was a promotion or something. How's that CJ? Was that it?

I bought a new PT Cruiser last Monday and got the 7/100,000 mile warranty, so I know it applies to them.

DaveM and Harry - sometimes it comes down to just Scot and I entertaining ourselves here. Since Scot is much older and wiser than I, I'm finding it more difficult to challenge his strong intellect. But on the other side, Honey Dew has called me reporting that Scot's Prowler has gone into 'limp mode' in all gears, and is requesting a stiff fix to improve performance. I suggested a new input sensor, so that she will know when this condition is happening, and to apply a small amount of KY lube to his threads. Apparently the new 'tater chip' isn't all it was cracked up to be, and he might possibly need a cold air intake system to cool his jets. I'm still wondering if this isn't a sign of male MPS or MBD, Mad Bull Disease?

Let me start by saying that I do not know CJ other than the time I met her at Woodward back in 2000. She certainly was very pleasant and helpful. She has put in a lot of hard work for us to help enhance the enjoyment we get with our cars and this site. She has gone to the gift shop for us on many occasions, gotten other folks help with car problems etc...

She certainly seems like the genuine article. By that I mean friendly, outgoing, honest, and helpful. The love she had expressed for the car also seem very strong, so it surprises me greatly to hear of this sale. I can't help but believe that it was due in part to the treatment she recieved by some folks here at this site. Maybe not always in public posts but in private emails too.

I also will say that this isn't the first time we have heard she was leaving the site. Feelings get hurt, and people get angry. It does seem however that we cannot keep female members on this site. Granted cars in general are guy toys, it does seem that we (men) seem to hurt the ladies feeling all too often and they leave us. Sounds like a marriage doesn't it. There were several times that I did not agree with CJ. But your never going to please everyone. So gentlemen, in the future lets try to keep things respectful to everyone, especially the ladies. Now I may be way of base with these comments and she is leaving for a totally different reason but I still think these comments apply.

I am also sorry to see her go. I met her at Crazy Horse, but did not get to talk to her much. Our conversations were mostly here on the board. I can not understand why some individuals on this board find it necessary to "bash" other members when they try to help or offer information. I certainly hope that is not why she is leaving.

After being off the internet pretty much all weekend to visit with family and have a wonderful Thanksgiving I have been crushed by CJ's last post. I only met CJ and Bob twice, both times at Woodward and I was estatic that we had found such wonderful new friends. They are both the genuine article and top class in our books. I hope this isn't true. I feel right this moment like I have had a death in the family. I know that they didn't die but the hurt of the possibility of never seeing them again is nearly the same feeling. I don't know what else to say. I am very sad.

JD, I think you hit the nail on the head. Gary C has found a way and tapped into CJ's computor, and that it is actually Gary C's post that he has sold his Prowler and is leaving the board. After all... has he told us all at least once...oh maybe twice that he has bought a Viper. And I don't want to seem like a sorry a$$ kid here, I am Happy for Gary. I have driven my cousins Viper and it is truely one fine ride......BUT... That brings me to...... HEY GARY....anybody there????? THIS IS A PROWLER SITE....enough already about "BUY A VIPER". JMO

Candy Red, Sema blue? Even I can't make it seem like April so no "fools day" available! If its just one last phone call you are waiting for, let me know, I'd be glad to call!

I agree Mike, I was thinking about April fools, too. CJ, I hope what you "are persuing" is Candy Red. Keeping my fingers crossed. Don't want to lose you.

OK, here is what I think, I think CJ has a buyer for the black one and is waiting to hear from them, and is getting a red one for Christmas or her anniversary.

Close????
