In my best english I would like to inquire "Why ain't der ever nobody in da chatroom?"

I have clicked on the chatroom link about 20 times in the last 4 months and the reply is always the same, "The chatroom is currently empty."

hmmm.....when you tryin????? There are a few of us who check in there on a fairly regular basis. Check in at 9:00pm EST during the week and you might find us. Thing is, someone has to sign in and sit around for a few minutes so others will know to come in. Otherwise, if people just look from the outside, no one will ever go in there.

I miss the good ole days of the chat room chatter. Except for Ed & I, people's lives and free time are more complex now-a-days, but I'd like to see maybe three days per week set up where we know that others might be in the chat room. Example: Tues-thursday-sunday evenings, say 7:00 to 10:00 pm ET.

well, 7 ET is 4 in the west and that might make it a little tough for some folks.....how about a compromise and make it around 8:00 ET....that way, whoever is around can stop by (if they would rather be with us than eat dinner). The
challenge is on then Alley Cat ~ be there or be.....

well, you already heard me Sat. night, lol.

Catwoman - I agree, 4:00pm might be too early for Jim Clayton,,,,,,,,,,that is his nap time

Ok, how about 8:00 ET to 10:30 ET

Three of us have spoken, lets hear from the others as well!

I'll see if I can pop in at one of the proposed times and chat with y'all. I am usually commuting home (in the Kat of course) about 9:00 EST. Sundays should be easier, except this Sunday of course since I'll be travelling for work...like you said Alley Cat ", people's lives and free time are more complex now-a-days..."

I usually stop in between 8:30 and 9:30 EST. Debbie and Jim Clayton are about the only ones I see there.

How about if we show who's in the chatroom on the home page, or we could do a pop-up box like on the PT Owners Club site? This way you could see at a glance who is there or waiting to chat.

Any input and suggestions would be appreciated!

That would probably boost chatroom usage Mike, especially among chatroom newbies such as myself.
