Sorry it took so long for me to reply! Second, thanks to every one who responded to my post concerning my Son taking the Kat to the Prom. I read them ALL very carefully and considered all coments. So what did I finally do????
Did Josh take the Kat to the Prom? ABSOLUTELY!!!
I had Josh read each and every post! We had many Father and Son talks as to ---what if? Peer pressure--jelousy from other class mates--how and where to park--speeding--drinking--respect of my property--the fear that may and does arise from your Mom---ect... Then we did many, many driving experiences together. Driving ...top up, top down at night and during the day. Driving in heavy traffic with the radio up high, off, down low for reasons of distraction. And more.
I am very Proud to say the Josh and the Prowler came back in one piece! He Is one VERY HAPPY young man!
I'm glad I made the decision to let him experience this once in a lifetime event with the COOLEST car ever produced!
And man was he a hit with the whole school!
Maybe I'll have Josh post and express his feelings!?

VERY VERY cool, parent's, I feel, need to realize that the experience's they allow their children to have (provided the kids are responsible enough to HAVE these experience's) stay with them for life and really make a HUGE difference what kind of adult that person becomes. You cannot learn responsibility until you have been given the chance to BE responsible.

I knew he would do well!! He is a great kid that loves that car, and loves his parents, and would not do anything to harm either one of them.
Glad it worked out!
