Funny, I saw my first one today on PCH, and then another one a few miles down.

Personally, I really like the new Mustang. I have to give kudos to Ford for keeping the tradition of the car alive. I saw a pre-production Mustang earlier this summer on a test trip and it's one of the few "retro" designs that managed to capture the "look" of the vehicle when it was in it's prime years of long ago. If I was looking for a car, the GT would be on my short list. This next statement will probably raise some comments, but DC should have have been more true to the "Charger" name by doing the similar thing. The 300 is an awesome design statement, but a 4 door Charger....too bad J. Mays wasn't head of the DC team on that one. Being involved in Automotive Engineering for nearly 30 years now, I truly understand "platform engineering and design" as a cost effective means of vehicle development, but DC could have spent a few more development dollars and punched out a 2 door version of the car to paste the Charger nameplate on. I like the new GT alot. But....everybody and their brother will be driving one in about a year. (a figure of speech or course) I would like to see a "Elanor" done by some one.

Saw a truckload of them heading south on I-75 this afternoon. Looked pretty good but I was on the bike and exiting just as I saw it.
