You might have seen this before.

San Carlos, AZ.
During a campaign tour of the Apache Nation Wednesday, Democratic
presidential candidate John Kerry said he had a plan to increase every
Native American's income by $40,000 a year. Senator Kerry refused
repeated requests for details of his plan, however. He also told the
Apaches that during his Senate career, he has voted YES 9,637 times for
every Indian issue ever introduced.

Before his departure, the Apache Tribe presented the Presidential
candidate a plaque inscribed with his new Indian name, Running Eagle.

After Kerry left, tribal officials explained that Running Eagle is a
bird so full of **** it can't fly.

I doubt that the San Carlos Indians need help to reach the $40,000 income plateau,,,,,since they now have a very profitable gambling casino/hotel/golf course located on their land. I was never one to feel sorry for this tribe, as the U.S. built and paid for the San Carlos Dam in the 30's. The tribe has always collected a daily use fees to use their lake for boating and fishing, and were to use these collected fees to maintain the dam. Not a penny of these collected fees has ever been spent for dam maintenance, thus the San Carlos Dam is rated the most dangerous dam structure in the U.S. Today, it looks like it could crumble away at any time.
