Well. just found out (tonight) that my #78 Yellow race Vette will be in the new movie version of the Dukes of Hazard. My racing partner has to get the orange camaro completed. So, he & I can become stunt men and take part in the action shots...

Most of the filming will be in Louisiana around the Baton Rouge area. Some of the filming will be at No Problem Raceway.. We'll do some filming on the road course - the yellow vette & orang camaro and not sure of what other cars... And, than we'll get out of some gravel roads... so, we'll have to put the street tires on for that portion... And, I guess that means I'll be in the Vette and movie as well... If they want spin outs, I'm all in for that....

More details to follow... That's all I know at the moment... Scheduled shooting begins Nov. 15th that's the day after our next Grand Bayou Race (Nov. 13th & 14th)...

Sounds like a winner to me. Have fun. Jessica's husband is a local. He is talking about running for mayor of Cincinnati, someday. She is a total airhead but will look good in the short shorts.

Make that an airhead laughing all the way to the bank. LOL!

Laddie, if you haven't been in a movie before, it's definitely different. Long hours of waiting for 2 minutes of shooting the same 10 second sequence over and over and over again.

Fun to do once or twice (we've been in two movies) but, I'd never want to make a career outta it.

Have fun!!!!!!!!

p.s. the should pay you extra for your car being it too. At least they did for ours.

OK Laddie time to go to work!!!!!!! Since good old Burt is in it you should suggest that similar to the Smokey and the Bandit movies a group of Prowlers should run interference for the Duke boys in one of the scenes.

Have a great time doing it! I once was in a 1-2 minute spot on the Johnny Carson Show and it took us 7 hours to complete it - but it is COOL seeing yourself on TV. Worth whatever time it takes to do!!!
