I guess I'll be setting up an appointment to have the Kat worked on next week. I changed the oil tonight and noticed a whole bunch of problems had cropped up since I had last done it. Both front shocks are leaking oil( again, this is my second set. First set at 9K mi, now at 21K mi). The driver's side upper ball joint boot is split, and the hood gas struts are toast so the hood won't stay up. Glad I got that extended warranty... I wonder if I should push for the Koni shocks this time? This message has been edited by lavka on 10-15-2004 at 10:08 PM

Tom...I had my shocks replaced earlier this year and the dealer told me Koni is the only replacement due to the problems with the other brand. I am also glad I bought the extended warranty as last Saturday while driving home from the Phoenix / Central ave. cruise my clock spring snapped (I actually heard it break)in the steering wheel and I lost cruise and radio controls and the air bag light came on. Called local dealer and it is going in this Monday morning. Told them I have extended warranty and they said no problem...it's covered. So my first "payback" for purchasing the warranty...

Well its good to hear that Koni's are being used for the replacement.Hey AC. We just missed you at the Pavillion's car show on Labor Day weekend. We got into town a little later than expected. We had just parked the car and were walking to the show area when we saw you leaving. Maybe next time...
