I believe it was HOT ROD magazine did this a few years back, it was called pontiHACK. Also remember sport truck magazine stipped a chevy 1500 and made it really perform. Just shows you how much a difference wieght makes.

It was a redo of a previous article, also by HOT ROD, called CadiHACK. Appearantly Cadihack was a very successfull and widely-read article (but before my time).
