The way to respond to ANY email that (appears to) come(s) from eBay is to FORWARD it to spoof@ebay.com If it is legit, they will return that email & advise you accordingly. Same response if it is NOT legit, they will say so. When in doubt, forward it on. Don't just delete.Ed Weichsler TXTGALE (Michigan plate)

to Tytanium-K, My advise remains the same, forward the ENTIRE email to spoof@paypal.com and let them sort it out. They will respond accordingly (whether it's legit or not). Make sure you include all of the header when you forward it. Deleting these types of emails will not put a stop to them. If nothing else, even a minimal response (to the sender) will only validate your email address. As for my feelings toward those whose intent is to "harvest" credit card info, nail the bastards. End of story!Ed Weichsler TXTGALE (Michigan license)

and yet another one.We recently received a request from one jewelry shop in WorldTradePlazza Barcelona / SPAIN to enable the charge of $249,65, on your Visa Debit Card. THE PAYMENT IS PENDING FOR THE MOMENT. If the purchase was made by yourself, please ignore or remove this email message. If you authorize the purchase, the billing will be assumed as an Exception Payment motivated by our Geographical Tracking System. As a result you will be personally contacted by one of our security departments. If the purchase was not made by you and would like to decline the $249,65 billing to your card, quick-login to your account to decline the transaction: Login and complete the form with the correct information, so we can identify you as the rightful owner of the credit card. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and appreciate your assistance in helping us maintain the integrity of the entire SunTrust Bank system. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. Please do not reply to this mail. Mail sent to this address cannot be answered

Ed, Yours is an easy one to reconcile. Simply contact your credit card via their 1-800 # (usually found on your monthly statement). This is the kind of issue that would best be handled over the phone. My only credit card is issued by MBNA and they are second to none in customer service. In your particular case, I would wish you find the same kind of service.Ed Weichsler TXTGALE (Michigan plate)

Ed, it is a scam. None of the above happened. They are trying to get me to go to their link and list all my information so they have it and can use it. I forward all of it to spam@eBay.com.
