As I understand it, the families of each person killed in 9/11 get a couple million dollars for each loved one killed.

O.K. but, now what about families of military folks who have been killed in the line of duty? Military exempt from such a program?

O.K., what about all the civilians that have had loved ones beheaded?

Now I don't think the last two groups will get any money so the question is, what makes their loss less then those of 9/11? Yes, 9/11 was horrific but, to the wife who's husband was beheaded yesterday, I bet she'd think that was worse.

3,000 votes count more than 1 vote. It's all politics...

How do you figure? To my knowledge, they didn't ask if they were Republicans or democrats before giving them the money or made any statement that would force anyone to vote one way or the other.

I don't know who even put the idea forth but, you would then have to consider who all signed off on it.

I honestly don't think that was the reason.

At least a fund has apparently been set up for the family of the one from Marietta GA. Here is a link from today's Atlanta Journal Constitution.
