YellowFever unregistered Posts: 18860 From: Rochester Hills, MI USA Registered: JUL 2000	posted 09-15-2004 02:37 PM The Florida state Democratic Party is suing to keep Nader off the ballot because, it argues, the Reform Party is no longer a legitimate national party and that Florida election laws requiring minor candidates to qualify by petition or through a nominating convention weren't followed. The lawsuit is part of a national effort by Democrats to keep Nader off ballots in states where he could siphon votes from Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry. Ah, the party that accepts everyone with open arms....so long as you vote like they do. Say, I thought President Bush stole the election? Now they are saying Nader cost them the election? Which was it guys????

Can't win an election? Can't convince a majority of the population to back your hare-brained policy? Someone saying something slanderous (i.e. true) about you? Sue 'em! They've even got a trial lawyer who got filthy rich by adding millions of dollars to the cost of healthcare by suing OB/Gyn doctors on their presidential ticket. Hey, Senator Edwards, since the medical community knows (and knew back when you were suing doctors) that cerebral palsy is not reduced when doctors perform C-sections instead of vaginal deliveries, how about standing up and saying, "My clients and I were wrong. The scientific evidence does not support the contentions I made in court. I employed used-car-salesman double-talk to convince juries composed of intellectual dwarves to use the coercive power of the state to steal money from hardworking physicians and redistribute it to the grief-stricken parents whom I used to get rich. I apologize and would like to give all the money back."
