Anyone near Clearfield, PA? There is a restaurant there that sells a 6 pound hamburger and if you can eat it in under 3 hours you get some sort of prize. No one has done it yet.

I was in Texas once and went to a steak house that sold a huge steak that was free if you could eat it in a certain amount of time. Gluttony is certainly one of my vices, but I am not sure I am up for that much punishment.

It's called the Big Texan in Amarillo. 72 oz. steak with all the trimmings - salad, appetizer, steak, potato, vegetables, and desert. If you eat it all, it's free.

Whats bizarre is if you look at the list of people that have done it, there are some pretty unlikely candidates.

Like a 68 year old grandmother who weighed 118 pounds. And she did it in something like 52 minutes

Just about the same size as a regular McDonald's burger,right.....
One of my favorite places up here is a Texan outfit called The Lone Star....offering the same thing,if you can eat the 72 oz steak with fries to go along with it,it's free!
Don't see very many people taking the challenge!

I am about 45 minutes from Clearfield, but I wouldn't even drive up for that. There is no way I could eat it anyway.

I grilled a 6+ lb brisket about 2 years ago, and ate half of it in one sitting, and the only reason I stopped there was to save some for later, cause, it had to last. No time constraints, and did it in about an hour, maybe an hour and a half. Followed with a 16 oz glass of milk, and preceeded with a half gallon of chocolate milk. HEY! and Kroger has their briskets on sale again! LATER!
