We took it easy today and just went for a drive. Tomorrow I plan on trimming the bushes for the last time this season.

Going to a fire dept competition. Love those big block fire trucks. Was going to bring the Cat, but was screwed by the low tire light.Thought it was a misfire but found out I picked up a ringed roofing nail.
My first experience with tire dismount coming up on Tuesday.

Al, why don't you just plug it. I had a nail in the outer edge of the tread on the 99. I plugged it. Since then the car went to the Texas Stampede, Toronto, Woodward and yesterday to Auburn. No problems. If it doesn't work, then take it in and have it done "right". You can buy plugging kits at Autozone. Pretty simple to do.

Jack, myself and company went Camping, hiking and fishing this Labor Day weekend!

We went to Twin Lakes Colordo, about 3 hours South West of Denver. Twin Lakes are the largest glacial lakes in Colorado in the Collegiate range at the base of Mt. Elbert (14,433 ft).

Jack Walking along hiking trail 9-5-04

Jack and I on the island between Upper Twin Lake and Lower Twin Lake...(a three hour hike) Mt. Elbert in background. What a HIT!!

The small town of Twin Lakes..(I love the Standard sign).. in the background is Independence pass..on the other side of the pass is the town of Aspen

It was 30 degrees at Twin Lakes this Labor Day morning when we broke camp and prepared to head back to Denver...

GEEEZZZ!!!...the next long weekend is NOVEMBER!!

Spent two weeks at the Salish Inn in Snoqualmie Washington.

Absolutely beautiful place sitting atop a massive waterfall (100' deeper drop then Niagra). The place is a day spa too so the wife loved it.

Hiking, biking, train rides to winery's, whale watching, trip to Mt. Rainier and St. Helen's (or what's left of it).

I recommend the Waterfront bar and grill on Pier 70 in Seattle. Pricey but, worth it.

Beautiful country and scenery. I'd highly recommend it!!!
