Tangled,
That is HORRIBLE !
I see from the plate it is Vicki, the owner of Kerbeck in AC.
I Bought a 98 fron her.
Now the 53 in the backround is great. That must be the first Corvette ever made. The pilot corvette, I forget what they called it ...XP 100 or something. That was the Motorama
Corvette I believe.

Very Unique in a car world dominated by Red, Black and Silver. I like the PINK Corvette.

I agree with you Tangled. That particular pink just isn't right on a Vette. By the way, I've liked all the previous Vettes, but this new one has a goofy looking front end. The rest of it is pretty cool.

I showed this pic to my wife and she said "that's an insult to women everywhere". She is wondering if Vicki is blond!! This comes from a woman who loves her JET BLACK Chevy 4x4 step-side... She's still commenting from the other room about how horrible that looks

Boy Julie is really on a roll after seeing that pic...I'm gonna let her sit down and type a few comments....

Ha ha ha ... yes - I take it personally when a car maker prostitutes a classic car. Why the Impala lights on the back of a Corvette??? Maybe they can make an aftermarket kit with triangle shaped lights and it can mimic a Mitsubishi while they're at it!

What is up with Chevy anyway? At least Ford had the good taste not to completely destroy the Mustang's look when they restyled it. (And I still think it was a mistake when Chevy walked away from the 96 Pickup look and started making trucks that looks like huge basketball sneakers!)

Back to the Corvette... I know the Viper has a large following but Chevy doesn't win any brownie points in my book by making their Corvettes look like Viper wanna-be's... with Impala tail lights!

But hey.. just my humble opinion!

OK guys...now you know how she feels..and as she is walking away she is still commenting...guess I won't be getting a new Vette anytime soon but she did say a "classic" model would be ok...

Thanks for the woman's perspective Julie! I find that car styles grow on me. Whe a major change gets made, sometimes I don't like it, but when I look back after a few years at the older style that I didn't want to let go of, it looks dated. I like the new Vette. I think if you have as many bucks as this Vicki has and you're in the car business, you do what it takes to draw attention. It got me to look after reading Tangled's post and I'll
stop by next trip to AC.

Never really liked the Vettes after 1967. My favorite was the 1967 Coupe..........the newest one looks just like a Viper...........but even if I did like the new Vette... what is up with that pink????
