Hey Ed, any team that would lose to the Falcons (37-10) has got to suck even worse then the team out in Arizona that AC likes............ So who's going to win it this year?

Where have you been for the past 15 years? They beat the Pats last week and you would have thought it was the Super Bowl. I am thinking about moving to MO, the SHOW ME state.

........and of course you realize that the falcons starting QB didn't even play............. Let's see what's his name? Michael Vick? So if you really want a winning team you do need to move!

I 2nd that. The Lion with a 21 point lead can still come from behind and lose. With only 10 min to go.------------------

blackcat - the Az Cards are NOT my team! I predicted on their move here in 1988, they would be losers. They have lived up to my advance billing = losers! The owner [Bidwell] only pays the salary for bottom feeders and has-beens, so he gets what he pays for. Bidwell's only true interest is the bottom line to make money, and that involves getting the tax payers to build a new stadium and THEM [Cardinals organization] buying the land around the site to build hotels and restaurants. It doesn't concern them that only 22,000 people show up to the games. LOSERS,,,,,Always JMO This message has been edited by ALLEY CAT on 08-29-2004 at 09:51 AM

I might also add that I have never attended a Cardinal game. Only because Chuck CT is coming to watch his Jets play have I considered to go see a game. I will be wearing green at that game This message has been edited by ALLEY CAT on 08-29-2004 at 09:50 AM

Be careful Bob. There are some real "Chiefs Haters" here on this board. And there might be even more if we let Ed move here. LOL This message has been edited by Bcoffman Gray Ghost on 08-29-2004 at 09:56 AM

They said that the Bengals have now gone 16 years without having a winning pre-season.

AC- They showed something interesting during the Panthers/Redskins game 2 weeks ago.The last 4 teams in the Super Bowl all had 4-0 preseason records the year they got to the big game. Surprised me. Ed- Heard something on the Panthers/Patriots broadcast that didn't seem right. They said New England got Cory Dillon from the Bengals and only gave a second round draft pick? Is that right? I know Dillon was somewhat a mal-content, but only a 2nd rd pick for a premier back? Was there something going on behind the scenes or is the Bengals management that bad? ------------------

Randy, Dillon demanded a trade. After last year's final game, he took off his helmet, shoulder pads, jersey, etc. and threw them into the stands. It was his last game, no matter what. He had been the only bright spot on an otherwise dismal team for the past several years. They brought in a new coach and he started weeding out all the dead weight. He got Rudi Johnson as a running back and all of a sudden Cory Dillon was not the ONLY player on the team. He was upset about numerous things, mostly the lack of ALL the carries. He was not a team player. Most of the other teams knew he was a malcontent and not a team player. In other words, a cancer or distraction in the club house. He ripped the linemen, etc. Basically a head case. He was not going to sign and the Bengals wanted to get rid of him and had very few offers. He was a great running back but lacked some other skills. The Bengals act like they will be contenders. I predict 7-9, at best.

Ed-Thanks for the reply and insight. Now that you say it, my foggy memory brings back the trade demand. Yeah, probably better off without him. Good luck and 7-9 is a lot better than avg. over the last 10 years. ------------------
