I stopped by the hotel today to pick up the extra information binders that were left. I spoke with Sarah (the Manager) and she asked if our weekend went well. I assured her that it did. She apologized, again, for the confusion over the car hauler parking in the restaurant lot next door. She said she'd gotten permission from the GM of the restaurant to park in the back corner. It just so happened that the District Manager came by that morning and ordered the owners to move the haulers. When Sarah figured out what happened, she had a rather heated discussion with the GM. Again, she apologized and said it would not happen again.

She also said that of all the large groups they've had in the hotel for various events, that the Prowler group was the nicest. She said everyone was polite and well behaved (even the late night Poker players). Her staff was also impressed that the Prowler owners cleaned up after themselves in the lounge room. She wanted to extend an invitation to come back again next year!

Went back to The Aspen restaurant tonight for dinner and to talk with the owner. He was very pleased with the group and hoped that everyone enjoyed their meal. One of the waitresses that served us on Saturday, waited on us tonight and she was telling me that the rest of the restaurant was buzzing with talk about the cars and wondered what event was going on! Apparantly, we were a big hit!!

You cant beat the hotel for price and location.

Aspen ( Old Garwoods ) has great food. Cant believe they moved that building around 10 miles to that location.

My old car wash buddy Chuck from Chucks Car Wash said if we come back next year he will open at 6 AM have breakfast ready and clean your Kat inside and out for $15.

I have to agree that the hotel was an unbeatable value for your dollar....I couldn't believe my bill when I saw it(That's all?)....
The Aspen gives you that Nordic flavour and the meal was superb!

I'll say that that's the only $49.00 hotel room I have ever stayed in, and it was excellent.. It's definately not a motel 6. Way better than some 89.00 a night rooms... I would stay there again in a heartbeat! The place is great!

This was our second stay at this hotel and we have been very happy with the rooms. We need a bigger area in the lobby though!
