I hate to even bring this up.
Wayne Finch took me to his country club for a round of golf on Friday. I would say the place was first class BUT that would be understating it by a long shot. What a great course. Very scenic.
The reason I hate to bring it up is due to the way I played. Lousy. I started off with a perfect drive on # 1 and that was about the only good shot of the day. His son Steven is 14 and weighs about as much as one of my legs and he kicked my butt. He had a few bad holes but played pretty consistent. I played consistent also, after I got that one good shot out of my system.
Thanks again, Wayne. Nice joint. They have helicopters overhead to spot your ball but I still lost a few. lol

Ed - that wouldn't matter to you,,,,,Wayne said you are still playing with driving range balls! But the topper was when he said you tee-up in the rough and sand traps, lol.

Ed didn't believe me when I said there were only foxes on the golf course - no alley cats - he went looking with his club in hand anyway.

In fairness to Ed, he was playing golf without his smelly golf sandals, didn't have his driver that is offset 3 inches, and we gave him a 1940's vintage putter that he didn't like as much as I thought he would

They gave me a Driver, I hit three on the driving range, all three straight and I thought I was set. I couldn't hit the irons, which never entered my mind. Bad round, for sure, but still enjoyable. Absolutely A-1 golf course.

You beat me to it, CJ. I was going to say that Sandy said he was bragging he could hold his breath for 5 minutes, so they helped him.
