Buy one, they might stop making them like the trailer. I have one and love it.

As long as anyone wants to purchase a hardtop or until I have sold a hardtop for every Prowler, we will continue to build them. I have hardtops in stock ready to paint with a lead-time of only 2 weeks to process the order.

David, call me on Monday about a black hardtop. I might have one available for you?

Sam,

Yes, you can purchase hardtops unpainted, but not highly recommended. I cannot support my product gaurantee 100% when I do not complete a product in-huse. The price is $2500.00.

I will install the headliner and back window. The rear window will be installed without the final outer seal so you can paint the hardtop and then you can install it after painting. It makes for a much cleaner paint job this way. The rear seal we use under the back side of the top that sits on the trunk will have to be installed after painting as well. Just make sure whoever does your painting, that they take very good care not to ruin the headliner...this is glued in by hand and if it gets wet during the color sanding and buffing process, it will stain and half to be replaced. Then you have to ship the hardtop back to me for replacement. That gets costly for you.

Do you have a custom paint job or are you trying to save money on the paint costs? If you can get the paint to me, I would be more than happy to spray your paint onto the hardtop and do all the final assembly before shipping the hardtop, that way I can gaurantee that the hardtop is completed properly. Give me a call on Monday and we can discuss your options.
