I've had two Ferrari's in the past. The fastest car I've personally owned was my Ferrari Testarossa. I sold it when I moved to Texas a little more than a year ago. Besides that, the fastest car I've ever been in (not mine) is my fathers Ferrari 360 Modena, that quite frankly would put the Testarossa to shame. The "Pretty Kitty" though, is meant to SLOWLY cruise by, not alot of power in comparison, but makes every minute behind the wheel a pleasure... Sweet car Gene... what is that?
Highest top-end that I can swear to was a 50th Anniversary 300ZX.... @ 148. though the Crossfire attests to a higher top-end and I feel certain it will get there, the highest I have been in it so far was 130. Plenty fast enough these days..... it seems the older I get, the whole speed thing is disappearing and the safety thing is more in front Dangerously living, within reason!?!?!??! lol QUickest was probably a hopped up 1965 Mustang fastback I had for a short period back in the early 80s, would lift the front end up and keep on going. |

A 56 murc that I helped my dad and uncle modify for stock car racing. Drove it at Martin speedway and thought I was fast at 143 in the quarter mile until the regular drive did 178. Was a gas... |

Electronically limited to 143mph in my 'family sedan.' I can vouch for it, too. ------------------ |
