Since I have owned my car every time we see one on the street or parked somewhere we try to contact the owner by following them or if parked turn around and either leave a card to inform the owner of prowleronline.com

Tonight we went cruising in our Prowler and Sue spotted a Woodward parked on access street in front of a house. We turned around and the owner was in the front yard talking to his friends that lived there.

He knew nothing of prowleronline but said he would like to get together with other owners amd he would be checking the site out.

So if Scott Morgan shows up he has the #3 Woodward. After seeing my car now wants to do some MODS.

I believe I was looking at one of the FEW STOCK Prowlers that are still out there.

You meet the nicest people driving a Prowler

I run them down. I have found three in the same block of River Rd. in Aurora, Indiana, all at different times.

I usually run across a cat parked somewhere with no owner in sight. I put a POA card in the driver's window edge (I hate crap put under wiper blades),,,,informing them of the POA website and Catwoman's email address to contact on the backside.

I do whenever possible. But alas thus far almost none of them have ever contacted me , returned my calls / emails, or joined the POA.

I try, but usually heading opposite way and/or on highway etc. Did see one on trailer last week, guy just bought it from D&M Autos on North Ave in Glen Ellyn, IL and was hauling it back to Wisconsin to sell .. was a '99 yellow with 1500 +/- miles and he said he paid $31k for it ...

Every time I see a Prowler(very rare to see one on the street)it is usually one of the guys from the Ontario group that I know.
Like Chris says,if you try to interfere in the middle of traffic the driver will probably think you're obsessed or crazy or something...
One thing I always do is talk up the P.O.A.even to non Prowler owners(Viper owners for example...)

I was at the Carolina Harley Dealers Rally last week in Myrtle Beach, SC and was in the parking lot at the nightclub leased for the week by Orange County Choppers when I spotted a Mulholland cruising thru the lot. I chased the driver down and introduced myself.

They are Greg and Mary Alice Hill from Conway, SC. Greg's first love is a 34 Ford street rod and the Mulholland is Mary Alice's. Greg said he had visited the site, but had not joined POA. I encouraged him to do so. I told them where my yellow was parked. I saw them again a few minutes later and Mary Alice wanted to know all about my Bra by Kal and the process of front bumper removal. I think Greg has a "honey do" list now. LOL!

Here are Greg & Mary Alice in their hot Mulholland!

I saw my first Prowler at the car show in Kansas City back in 94-95(?). Saw my second Prowler in 99 in KC area. Bought the next Prowler I saw in 00 at the local dealership. It was the first one he got. (He now has a 2002 Inca gold on his showroom). I got my second Prowler in 02, had 3000 mi. on it. Bought it at the Adessa Auto Auction. (There was a Mulholland at the same sale.) Saw a Silver Prowler in KC area this last winter. Those are the only Kats I have seen all told.

The coolest thing about the car is that you DON'T see it very often,if even at all!
Wouldn't be the same if it had the volume of a Corvette or a Mustang...
Even after all these years and after the whole production is finished, most people don't have a clue what it is which prompts all the questions!

I just look to make sure it's not mine! That's about the only reason I would chase it down.

In the words of Mr. T "I pity the fool that steals my Prowler"

Sue & I took the Prowler out Sunday to a place that was to have a cruise in from 2~7. Well we didn't get there until after 6 and everyone was gone. This place has great food so we went in for dinner.

I didn't see another Prowler, BUT, I was wearing a Prowler shirt and the table next to use was several people and the guy ask if that was my Prowler. We got to talking and his dad has a Purple Cat and was at PTS last year and I remember his parents and their car. He got to see the video that Mike did so he has seen many of our cars. That is as cool as seeing another on the road

I have been known to pull a u-turn once or twice....LOL.

Still have yet to meet a local as fanatical about the car as me though...

The funniest was seeing a black Prowler in my neighborhood last week, and turned around and met the owner inside our community center. I freaked him out when I told him all about the car since it was my friend's who sold it to him...Here he is talking to a stranger who hot glued his center caps and put his mudflaps on that car before he owned it...

I said.."Did you fix your battery cables yet?" he looked puzzled, until I opened his hood and showed him the corrosion...too funny.

Too cool Black Tie,

I have seen one prowler in the past 5 years.
Then last year I saw one in someone's (Charles)
garage and stopped and talked about the car.
I then found a new 2002 on Ebay in a couple days,
paid cash and have been so happy since!!!

Glad you had a good experience on ebay...I'd be scared to make such a large purchase there.

I'd say there is more Prowlers that never leave the garage than those who make it to the road.
