Bob and I left for Cincinnati on Friday morning to attend a surprise 60th birthday party for Ed Monahan! Sandy and her family and Ed's family put together a wonderful surprise birthday party for Ed!! We had a great time meeting their families and seeing some other Prowler owners who were also in attendance. Ed received some great gag gifts! We want to thank Sandy and Richard for inviting us to attend..........we had a great time. On Saturday, after playing tourist most of the day in a city that we actually lived in for 4 years, we met the same Prowler owners for dinner in the evening. After dinner, we reconvened at Andy Rapach's house (thanks, Shelley for all the arrangements) and spent time telling stories and falling off creepers...........Jeepers creepers, Bob!!

Here are a few pictures and I will have the rest of them posted in a couple of days!!! Again, thanks for a great weekend.........Prowler owners are the BEST!!!!

Friends and family waiting for Ed's arrival!!

Surprise!!!

Ed's birthday cake. There were actually two of them, one red and one purple!

Bob, CJ and Ed

The Birthday Boy and Sandy and a long-time friend of Ed's (from grade school!)

Thanks CJ & Bob and JD. I am getting real close to social security time. lol. Six OOOHHH.
The party was very nice.
The first picture, in the foreground on the left are two of my nieces, Shelley Rapach is in the middle right and Janet Rodenfels is on the far right. Dale Pope is in the background on the right. He went to Deadwood with us, for you others who were there a few years ago.
The second picture has my oldest son Eric in it, holding the Budweiser. I think that is my brother Mike's nose poking in and that is Sandy, of course in the purple. I think that is my daughter-in-law, Sandy with her back to the camera, but not positive.
Some of the cards and gifts were hilarious.

Thanks everyone. We had a great time and it was really nice of CJ and Bob to come all that way just for my party. Richard drove farther than Bob & CJ but that is just because he gets lost easily and is not used to driving all the way to Cincinnati from just north of town. lol.
Richard took care of notifying POA folks about the party so if you didn't get invited it is ALL his fault. lol.
Thanks Richard. Send me your NEW phone number. The one I have is two weeks old and disconnected. lol

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, OLD MAN Glad you had a great party to enjoy with family and friends. Was the fire department on standby with all those candles to blow out?

Tami - Sandy doesn't like Ed,,,she tolerates him so she can travel and be with the rest of the POA people. Thought you knew that, lol.

Ed at what age did you notice the change in sizehappy birthday. I really don't think that it is big enough to brag about and especially in front of them girls..i would be a LITTLE more low key about it
