I saw this car, pretty cool. I like how the prowler is much better, but wondering what you guys think about its performance compared to the prowler

There is no comparison on the performance. The Lotus gets 0-60 in 4.7. It's a sexy car for sure.
Elise is the size of a Miata and the aluminum frame weighs in at 125 lbs. To get that kind of accelleration in another car you could pay an additional 100K. At 40K this is one fast little car. We are the architects for the new HQ building for Lotus USA; my partner has one on order. I'm partial to the Prowler myself. The prowler has lots more room.

I don't know what use most people would have for a vehicle that's smaller than a Miata!

Careful there, some might say the same thing about our car. lol. This Lotus is really a third car; another toy for sure.
The Elise is actually a little race car; that's what Lotus makes. They have been taking some over to a Birmingham track and doing tests and press viewings. I'm told that They tested a few different engines and selected the Toyota for durability. Remember the Lotus race engine is built for a for thousand miles between rebuilds.
