If you live in a populated area, it is possible to view in 1 foot resolution in color. I viewed a bunch of my old houses, and it was pretty cool. You can also enter your street address in the "ZOOM TO" box. You can click on the map to zoom, or drag and draw a box on the map and it will zoom into the box you drew. BE SURE to click on the left side to see the SATELLITE views and get out of the default vector map view. Have fun! It's addictive I tell ya!

I ran outside and waved up at the sky then ran back into my computer to see if I was there. Sadly, the satellite missed me. This link is better than other commercial ones I've seen.
