I was talking to a 19 your old guy today as he was looking at my Kat. He was driving a Camero that was several years old. I asked him how much his insurance is and replied that he pays $650 a month. I said "you mean every six months?" And he said no, every single month! No tickets and no wrecks! Sometimes I really like being older!!!!

"$650 Every Month?!?!

Bob,

You bring up an interesting idea. I did a search for "insurance" here and found a few threads about what others are paying for insurance. Having the Kat for over a month now, I am still surprised how inexpensive the insurance was compared to other cars we have. Granted we have two houses, four cars, a motorcycle and a boat all with the same carrier (along with an umbrella over it all) but the Kat is still less in premiums than the Toyota Prius.

$650 a month!!! Wow.

I tolerate being over 50 simply because I can't do anything about it. I really don't want to 19 again but I wouldn't mind adding the extra 32 years to my lifespan. I'd pay $650 a month for that!
