My original plan was to go with Vintage air so we filled the firewall for a smooth look, then I found a company in Tampa that makes PERFECT FIT unit for my car. Now this uses the original holes for the blower & heater hoses.

After talking to them on the phone and reading the instructions they sent me I thought it would be best to go in person to get what I wanted the 1st time.

Well he showed me all the pieces and because I had filled the fire wall was planning on a street rod type billet piece to mount to the fire wall. After looking at the heat box and deciding that wouldn't work it was time to order.

I wanted the perfect fit unit for a `67 Dodge Dart, Stainless Steel trim for the condenser, chrome drier and polished compressor to fit my `71 340. After getting home I see he didn't have the chrome drier on the list that I paided for and was hoping it came with the polished upgrade.

Well today he calls and forgot what motor was in the car. When I return the call and ask about the drier, he stated he forgot to put it on, but would include it. Not 10 min. later Sue tells me I need to call him again. He didn't have but one chrome drier and it was scratched up and he didn't want to send it. It will be another 4~6 weeks to get the shipment in and I needed to send a check for $45 to cover the cost.

Now it was interesting to see their shop, but to take 3 hours out of a short day to make sure I got JUST WHAT I WANTED............WHAT HAPPENED? I took pictures of the car, I told him what I wanted and he actually showed me all the pieces

Now you are asking yourself, If he showed me everything why didn't I bring it home with me. Well that was the original plan, but it was cheaper to ship it that for me to pay Florida sales tax and the Van was FULL by the time my Mom quit bringing more stuff out for me to bring home, so I opted to have it shipped

Hopefully they will send the right kit and most of it will fit as they claim
