Marty Usher Prowler Junkie Posts: 13833 From: San Antonio, Texas Registered: JUN 2001	posted 04-11-2004 08:40 AM Speaking of Mopar Muscle cars and sicne this thread is about Hemi's - the best drag race I saw on the streets back in high school pitted a Yellow GTX with a 426 Hemi against a Green Road Runner with 440 - six pack. They ran five times before the cops showed up and were never more than a car length between them depending on who hooked best at the start. The GTX won the 1st, 4th, and last race. Neither was stock so don't really know how they would compare from the factory.
