March 20th - First day of spring.

For the cold weather owners,,,,are you unbagging, uncovering, and getting your cats ready for cruising days ahead?

If not, report how much snow is still on the ground OR how cold are day temperatures still averaging.

Still a little snow in Winnipeg, but it's melting fast, and I am optimistic that I will be cruzin soon! My motorcycle and Kat are in a heated garage

Snow's all gone now, but only supposed to be 32* tomorrow. I usually get mine out of the bag between April 1st and 15th.

I am in St Louis leaving for Denver tomorrow and my Kat is in Wisconsin with the engine coming out. It never stays in the garage anyway whatever the weather - except hail! Drove it through snow to get to Wisconsin Wednesday.

I WILL be driving it as soon as Westech gets the new 4.0 stroker installed. I probably ought to order a new set of rear tires!

Marty, Let me know what time you are leaving St. Louis. I'll meet you on I-70, and buy you lunch, or coffee. I'm about 3-3:30 hours west of St. Louis. The wheels turned out so well on my trailer, I feel I owe you lunch. I'm about half-way between Columbia, Mo. and K C. Phone me here when you get ready to leave. At 1-660-886-3583

Must be a salt glut here. County came thru late last week and put 1/2" on top of 1/8" of snow. Good thunder and rain today will help. I think the salt would make a pitted mess with all of the aluminum.

I don't own any cold weather, but the rain stopped this afternoon, sun was out, blue sky and 63 degrees where we are. Putting the full insurance back on the car this week and hopefully, one cat will be out of the bag next week.

Kat is uncovered, but too much salt on the road. A couple weeks yet for me.

Just got home from a real nice day... cruisin' of course!

Sweet day, started out in lower 40s, hit the high 50s, sunshine, blue skies (a rare sight up here this time of year, believe me!), and just a perfect day for a drive.

Went to the carwash first (priorities) then a coupla drags up and down Main, the 'hot spots' here in town, did the burger at the (only) drive-in in town thing.. and then headed up north 70 miles to Green Bay...

Did the casino thing for about an hour (didn't lose, which is just like winnin') and just got back.... Temps now back down to 31 and while we started the day off with the top down, the "Canadian 'Norther'" changed our minds for us. Still.. .... a GREAT ride! Needed it.

And flipped over the 20,000 mark

What a life!

What a first day of spring. Had flowers delivered to my 4 girls (Wife, 2 daughters and granddaughter) and it was 68 degrees in the Mile High City today! Drove the car over to Chromer's, adjusted his new Real Rod bumperettes while listening to some tunes, had Jack the Wonder Dog display his newest trick (you'll have to ask Chromer) tried to do a test run with the GTech and planned a run for tomorrow.
Tuesday we are hooking up with Marty for a short drive and dinner and hear the latest info on his new motor.
Aaaaaaahhhhhhh spring is in the air.

Judy - you didn't tell the readers about the excellent job I did of cutting/trimming the grass along the driveway. It isn't in the curator's job description list of duties,,,,but I had some extra time available.

PS - could you please pick up after Sally and Molly when they are done doing their business??? I stepped in both piles not funny!

SPRING!!

Drove the Kat to my office on Friday and picked the kids up at school in it. Had to make two trips, but we live only 1.3 miles from the school and it's quite a treat for the kids to be picked up at school in front of their friends. Logan said that even though I'm a lot older than the other parents, I'm a whole lot cooler. Master Card comment in my book!

Cruised some Saturday morning with top down when it was approx. 58 degrees. In the afternoon it got up to 66 degrees and the wifey took it out with her sister for only the third time. They both came back with ear-to-ear grins.

March in NC can be beautiful or nasty. Great Saturday, chilly yesterday and could get down to low 20s tomorrow morning. Probably last time below 32 this seaeson.

Glad to see the azaleas out in Houston. They and Dogwoods don't get in full bloom here until the 2nd or 3rd week in April. We are about 10 days later than they are in Augusta, as seen at the Masters.

Snow is finally gone but it's still below 32.
By the end of the week it should go up to about 60-65.Saw a few bikes on the road yesterday-such brave souls.
Getting the itch to take the car out...but not quite yet!

Last week snowstorm with 1+ feet snow, then 70 degrees for three days and all snow is gone. This week 45 -50 degrees with rain. No salt on the roads (not allowed because of the protection of the world around us) but too much dirty dust and stones on the roads. Hope for April 1st.

So, leaving work today I look out the window - bright and sunny, looks like top-down weather to me.

Get into the parking garage, a little chilly, but it'll be warmer in the sun.

Start driving, bright and sunny, thermometer settles down -

THIRTY-SEVEN-DEGREES - and LOVING IT!
