Dear AlleyCat,

As you may know, this year’s cruise was to the western Caribbean...what a blast! but not without incident. Chris and I were mistaken for a couple of beached white whales and the local animal rights group formed a rescue party to place us back into the wild. Three-ton lifts did the job. My only concern was the placement of the hooks, my left rear cheek will never be the same.

Jerry, Roman and I placed mistaken faith in the blackjack tables…I hope my kids enjoy community college. We had to check the beaches for "spare" change. Character building, that’s my story.

Here’s some pictures to entertain you:

By the way the “get rich” quick scheme didn’t work. I really tried to get this past the panel for approval, but no dice. They like the “old” picture better. We have several lawsuits pending from animal rights groups about the pic.

Your pal!

MeanGene - I can see by the foreground in the beach photo, that this was an enjoyable trip for you (minus the blackjack learning curve lessons). I'm glad you were able to talk Roman into leaving some of that Canadian cash at the tables with you,,,,nothing like having a friend nearby when the dealers are thinking "there is a sucker for every seat". Your kids will not miss going to the IvyLeague schools,,,,they are planning on dropping out of community college anyway to get married to a promising artist. The pictures of the ruins and the sunset are just fabulous. Your left rear cheek will heal from the hook marks,,,,but from now on we will refer to you as "SPOT",,,not to be confused with the G-Spot!!

I'm glad I finally made the front side of an animal food package Previously, I was only listed on the back side of the box under ingredients.

At one time, I truely missed the CBS segments of "On the Road" with Charles Karault. You have finally replaced Charles and now we can look forward to the new featured POA segments: "On the Prowling Road and Seas with SpotMeanGene"

Thanks again Spot,,,,a great trip review.

And our life has never been the same since....
Chris,I was going to mention to you that when I checked into a hotel in Fort Lauderdale on Sunday right after the cruise,a guy walks up to me and says-Hey,weren't you one of the guys in the thong T-shirt and also on the Newlywed game...small world!
Gene-I'm still on the beach recovering some of the losses...

MeanGene, a lot of people start with the weakest picture and work their way UP. You did the opposite. You started with the great picture and worked your way all the way DOWN. lol. Nice report, though.

Ed,
You got to remember what material I had, after the AC shot, most would have left the thread. You know the old motto
"Sell the sizzle, not the steak"!
