Does anyone know of where I might find two front fender rivet backup plates? (Huck rivets came off). They are not available seperately and are only sold with a complete fender ($756.00). Thanks, chromer.

I'm really looking to keep the fenders looking "factory" if possible. Including the flat black rivet back up plates? This message has been edited by Chromer on 03-06-2004 at 07:24 PM

Bummer, it's all pricey to go stock, seen many of people go the cheaper, sharper and cooler way,,,, "looking factory" as possible to late for that...

chromer--looks like they would be pretty easy to fabricate. Are they steel or aluminum?

I've seen the same hydraulic rivets used on railroad cars & semi truckbeds. If you can get the plates made up, someone should be able to hyd, rivet it for you. Steve

I make chrome fender brackets so I have the hardware in my systeem. They are polished s.s. high quaility bolts and nuts. You can see them on the post showing John Davies chrome fender bkt's-'Cus I did them for John. I would be willing to sell you A made up set, complete with inside washers and cap nuts-all s.s. just like my kit but without the s.s. pleniums I use for the chrome brackets. These fit perfectly into any origional fender set. Let me know if your interested. I'll have to go back into my notes to see what I would need to charge you for these 'cus I cant remember off the top of my head. Hope I helped ! Obi-Wan
