quote: NOPE actually one reason we are wanting to sell it is because Sue is having problems and I think it might be related to the why she sits in the cruiser. I think another mini van or maybe a Durango R/T (older model) hate the look of the 04 She never had these problems with her '93 Grand Caravan......we really want something bigger |

Larry, The new Durango is a definite WINNER!!! Bob is on his second one already. You may not necessarily like the looks better, but it is a totally better vehicle than the old one. You know that I have back problems like Sue does. I could not stand sitting in the seats of the old Durango for long periods of time. The new Durango is on an entirely new chassis.........with better seats. The ride is so much better...like night and day. It rolls down the road so smoothly, you can even tell how fast you are going. It is so quiet.........no road noise. It is a great vehicle. Go drive one........I think you might change your mind about it............and they qualify for F&F, too!! |

John and Larry........the new Durango makes a great tow vehicle. Bob had one when we towed to the Skyline and Cruisin' the Coast events last October. The 4.7 Durango is so great, it was NO effort at all pulling the trailer with the Prowler. Even through the mountains, I felt no difference in the tow than on flat highway. With the substantially better aerodynamics and lower rolling resistance, the mileage was markedly improved. Same circumstances as the year before, new car, same powertrain, same route, same load, same time of the year, the new one delivered markedly improved fuel economy. The '03 delivered 9.8 for 3,000 miles and the '04 delivered 13.4 door to door. If the '03 was below average and the '04 was above average, it still represents a measurable difference. We are anxious for the trip to Texas to see how the Hemi Durango does with the mileage. |
