We could rent wheay's, you pay for gas(fuel)and also a lengthy stop at a Special rest stop??? I think a 20 would work, seen it done,,, a tight fit...... I would back the car in and put the trailer in the rear,,,,

I do not know how long Beckers trailer is but I do know that he had a short tongue made for the Prowler trailer so it would fit. ------------------ |

Ed, I measured this when I bought my trailer. Both the Prowler and the trailer will not fit inside an 20 foot trailer. It may fit if you remove the tongue. Or maybe stand the trailer on end., but there is no way I would personally risk it falling over on the Kat. |

I would not use a 20' trailer to put the car and trailer in. I used a 24 with tool box in the front and had to use the shipping tongue before buying my BIG RED BOX (24') |

YOU WILL NEVER GET THE CAR & TRAILER ON UNLESS THE TRAILER IS AT LEAST 24' AND THEN IT IS GOING TO BE A TIGHT FIT. AS THE WEIGHT WILL BE TO FAR FORWARD ON THE TRAILER, I HAVE AN 18' TEXAS ROLLBACK CAR TRAILER AND THE BEST WAY TO TAKE THE TRAILER WITH IS TO TOW IT OFF THE BACK OF THE CAR TRAILER. (DOUBLE TRAILER) ------------------ |

Thanks for the input and the offers. I really appreciate it. Andy, do you read this site? Give up the day job and read this FULL time. lol. I bought the Candy Red in Mich. Mike G, I don't know when I am picking it up. It depends on weather, whether the check bounces or clears, my sons' schedules, availability of trailers and trucks on the days that one of the kids are available. My kids are firefighters and work 24 hrs on and 48 off so I am working around when they are off. One son bought a new diesel pick up (F-250, I think) this week and he has a 24 foot trailer available to him, we think. I could rent a 20 foot enclosed. I can get a roll back tow truck, also. Chrysler Corp claims the check did not get there yet, or didn't clear yet. Chrysler Financial closed their Cincy office so I had to mail it to Livonia. (On Monday). No rush. It is somewhere near Detroit. Something Township and I can't recall the name right now. In other words, I don't know Jack ****. What's new, huh. lol. Thanks again for all the offers. You guys are the best. |

Bob, Thanks a million for the offer. I hope to heck it is inside at this time. If not, there may be a homicide up there. He has room to keep it. I need to get all the planets lined up to go get it. Not a rush so it may be one of those 'let's leave now" decisions and go get it. Thanks again to EVERYONE who offered to help, on here, emails and PMs. That is what makes the Prowler community GRREAT. |

Ed - I'd either let Bob and CJ store it for awhile OR let Tangled drive it back for you through every snow drift he can find, lol. |

Whealey it does my heart good to see YOU are still reading the entire POA site, unlike homeboy Andy. lol. Thanks for the offer. The paperwork might be a stumbling block and I am not in a rush. I did ride the motorcycle the other day, though. Maybe there is hope. We are having snow flurries at the moment. Thanks again for all the offers. I really appreciate it. |
