I am here, but I can't stand football so I am obviously not watching. So I guess that doesn't count.

There is really no way the Super Bowl can compete with KAT talk!

Half time sucks. I can't even imagine who in the population they're trying to target! It's obviously not the folks who normally watch these games........Janet who?

Absolutely watching; actually enjoying the commercials. No real interest in the teams but we don't miss the Super Bowl.

I am multi-tasking. lol.
Half time show is geared to the young set, the ad rates are based on the 18 to 30 group, obviously. Nobody I want to watch or hear.
Heck of a game, so far. I think Randy Cobb is happy at this point. Me, too!

One helluva game! Randy Cobb - nothing to be ashamed of,,,,your team was the underdog and in it for the win until the end

Best commercial will be the Bud horse with gas

The Ford GT and Dodge Magnum commercials were very good,,,,,,the Cadillac wagon/SUV ad completely sucked.

Halftime show - three thumbs down.

I loved the commercial of the guy jumping from the 5th floor balcony into a pitcher of water and then his dog following him...

CBS apologizes for breast-baring end to halftime show
Feb. 1, 2004
SportsLine.com wire reports

NEW YORK -- CBS apologized on Sunday for an unexpectedly R-rated end to its Super Bowl halftime show, when singer Justin Timberlake tore off part of Janet Jackson's top, exposing her breast.

This stunt with performer Janet Jackson was not well-received by CBS or the NFL.(AP)
"CBS deeply regrets the incident," spokeswoman Leslie Anne Wade said after the network received several calls about the show.

The two singers were performing a flirtatious duet to end the halftime show, and at the song's finish, Timberlake reached across Jackson's leather gladiator outfit and pulled off the covering to her right breast.

The network quickly cut away from the shot, and did not mention the incident on the air.

It was unclear whether Timberlake intended to expose Jackson's breast.

Wade said CBS officials attended rehearsals of the halftime show all week, "and there was no indication any such thing would happen. The moment did not conform to CBS' broadcast standards and we would like to apologize to anyone who was offended."

The Super Bowl halftime show, which also featured Puff Daddy, Nelly and Kid Rock, was produced by MTV, CBS' corporate cousin in Viacom.

"We were extremely disappointed by elements of the MTV-produced halftime show," Joe Browne, NFL executive vice president, said. "They were totally inconsistent with assurances our office was given about the content of the show.

"It's unlikely that MTV will produce another Super Bowl halftime."

Wayne, Willie was pre-game and he is at a point in his career he ought to consider lip-syncing, in my opinion. He still sounds better than me, though.
I kind of liked the Cadillac going thru the sound barrier or water or whatever it was supposed to be. It was far from the best, however.

Yeah, the Panthers have nothing to be ashamed of, but you only have a few rare opportunities to grab the brass ring and you got to make the best of those chances.

That said, they did show a ton of heart and in my wildest dream I couldn't picture them making it to the Super Bowl, much less having a great chance of winning it!

Randy - The Panthers put on a class act game (except for that last kickoff) and played every minute to win. I understand your feeling about grabbing the brass ring. The Diamond Backs came from a new ball club to the World Series in four years and won it all. The cost was a $92 million dollar payroll which the team can't support, so the mega buck guys are being dealt away. It may be another 10 years before they make it to the World Series, let alone win one. Keep the faith

The FCC is now involved with the Jackson, Timberlake stunt. I think they should just as well look into the Rapper who was holding onto his crotch while he was on the air. That just ain't right!!! I think that was just as bad as the the Jackson, Timberlake stunt. If he had to go to the bathroom that bad he should of gone before he got on stage

Yes, it's all over the web pages today as you probably know by now. I just downloaded a clip of the incident because I didn't watch the half-time show. I was switching between On Golden Pond, the game and the POA. No big deal, she's doesn't float my boat anyway.
I'm not much of a ball fan, but was rooting for Carolina. Close but no cigar.

Celebrities that choose to surprise the public and our children with exposing private parts in a family forum should be subject to criminal prosecution. How many parents had to explain what happened last night to kids who are no ready to handle soft porn? Unfortunate...

I would give them the benefit of the doubt before persecuting them. These are people in the limelight all the time and are aware of what bad press can do especially since Janet wouldn't want to be connected with her apparent psycho brother at this time. It could have been an accident--if planned though, she deserves some kind of punishment. Just my opinion.

Justin has stated that he was asked by Janet to rip that side of her bra off. From a childs perspective only, what is the difference in that and a woman exposing herself at their bus stop?
