I'm aware that this isn't the EVENTS DISCUSSION FORUM,,,,,but let's generate some excitement for the upcoming 2004 Texas Prowler Stampede event to be held in June. I cannot over state how important it is to start making those hotel reservations in Austin, Texas for this event. Tami has stated that another large group event is scheduled for the same week in Austin, so we need to fill up this hotel/resort to the max. If you are planning on attending this event or just thinking about it, please post on this thread. Your feet will not be held in cement. Thank you for participating.

Biggest question crossing my mind is for how long.....

how long we gonna stay at Lake Travis.... are we 'movin' on to stay a night or two in the Houston area, later in the week, or is that to be an Austin-Houston-Austin run?

I registered at the hotel from Sunday until Sat.
If you cannot make it at the last minute you can cancel the reservation, AT NO COST. I think they said you could cancel all the way up to 4 PM the first day of your reservation. Your credit card does not get charged until you get there, or don't cancel. It cost nothing to make a reservation so why not make it on the chance that you will be attending. I can see 200 Prowlers as a possibility. Heck, Mike and Judy can bring about 15 so we only need another 185. lol
I hate to admit that Sasquatch finally had a good idea and that I agree with him, but I will swallow my pride and state that both are true. lol

Geno: It's an Austin to Houston to Austin trip during the day and we will be staying in Austin the entire time. That is our only long trip of the event, the rest are just short trips with plenty of fun mixed in. Tami

Geno, all we have to do is figure out the time frame for the travelling and hopefully meet up somewhere near Memphis or in Memphis. Hopefully there will be more Cincinnati Prowler Trash tagging along.
Tami, I registered at the hotel. I didn't ask how many rooms were reserved, though.

Ed - there are 239 rooms at this hotel. Not sure how many are in Tami's reserved block,,,,but I'd like to see all 239 rooms filled with Prowler Trash, lol.

I guess with both of us announcing we will be there, we could be causing a lot of people to decide NOT to come. lol. Maybe we should have held off until much later. lol

Geno, I did see that and forgot about it. The cable went out here last week-end and they have fixed it a couple of times so my POA watching has been spotty since I lose the connection. That looks like a plan, other than the 7 AM departure on Sunday. (I like to leave earlier, while I am still up from Sat. evening. lol)

We currently have 75 rooms in our block, but that can be adjusted up to whatever we need as long as we do it far enough out before the hotel books up from the other event. So no worries! T

I just talked to Blue Tie today(Frank Peri)and both of us are likely going to book our rooms next week. We'll try to hype it up north of the border a little!
How about this.....in return we have a nice turnout for Prowlin'Canada 2004 from the Texas/Arizona group(and everybody else,of course). The event up here won't be the same without Tami and Ken and Chris and Christy and Leon and Deb and Alley Cat and....Come on guys!

I will not be able to make it but I will add my 2 cents.

At Prowlin the Smokies it was great that just about everyone you met in the hotel was a Prowler owner, spouse, child or __________ (fill in the blank) that was with a prowler owner. In the elevator, lobby hallway and especially in the parking lot. The you are out and about the area and you see Prowlers or owners everywhere.

It is a great experience. I just wish it was the 1st or 2nd week of July when I'm on vacation instead of the month before. Maybe someone will plan another event in the 1st 2 weeks of July so Sue & I can attend

Larry and I are clearing up some loose ends, and will be making our reservations this weekend. Looking forward to attending another big event, seeing old friends and meeting new ones, and checking out all the Prowlers.
