Only in Ohio - home of the Ed M. and Pete Rose bobblehead dolls,,,,,,could there be one winning lotto ticket worth 162 million and two different people claiming they bought that ticket.

The one who claimed she lost the ticket has a rap sheet a mile long for fraud no less. She also said one of the numbers picked was her husbands age. Well, that is news to her ex and her current live in boy friend both of whom are 5+ years younger.....

As quoted in the news:

Rebecca Jemison, the 34-year-old certified winner, produced a receipt from the convenience store showing the date and time she purchased the winning ticket. And The Associated Press reported that a lottery official said Jemison provided a different lottery ticket she bought at the same time and location. She also had a ticket from an earlier drawing showing she had played the same winning numbers before.

So not only did the lady with the ticket show the receipt for it (bought at same time and location as the winning ticket), she showed a ticket from the previous week with the EXACT SAME NUMBERS on it as these are the same numbers she apparently plays every week.

The other clown is still contending it's her ticket this lady found........

It gets better, her lawyer wants access to the original ticket so it can be DNA tested.

Frankly I don't care who won the money or who cheated who...unless of course they want to share some of it with me!

Woman admits she lied about losing $162M lottery ticket

CLEVELAND (AP) — A woman admitted through tears Thursday that she lied about losing the winning ticket for a $162 million lottery prize, saying: "I wanted to win so badly for my kids and my family."
Elecia Battle, 40, is dropping her lawsuit to block payment of the 11-state Mega Millions jackpot to the certified winner, her lawyer Sheldon Starke said.

"I wanted to win," Battle said. "The numbers were so overwhelming. I did buy a ticket and I lost it. I wanted to win so bad for my kids and my family. I apologize."

Battle apologized to her husband, her lawyer and Jemison, saying she wanted to use the money to help her family and recently laid-off Cleveland police officers.

Wow, she wanted to give all the money away.

I hope the police file charges against BattleAxe!!! She just wanted the real winner to give her something for nothing. I can see it now,,,,she will be on Maury, Ophra, or Montel soon, and then next year on Jerry Springer. What a phoney!
