That might be the only car I would trade my Prowler for. I am not positive I would do it, but it is definitely worth considering. I liked the old 'vettes much more than the new ones. This would have the new technology with the old look.
Looking good, Larry.

Mike....I think this car will cause as much stir on the streets as the Prowler did when it was new(and they still do)...the interior is available in any color you want.....to get the red, they change the seat covers and carpets....then dye everything else red/white to match....the interiors are outstanding in person.....I plan on having a second one done next year.....it is a 50th Anni Vette with the light shale colored interior....plan a fifties color for the outside of the car, utilizing the shale interior and top......want it to be different....this car is my wifes car and she wanted the white w/red white interior....her car, her choice

Joe - I think there was an article in last weeks Autoweek or current issue of Hotrod - I can't remember which one but will check both in the morning and let you know what it says. I believe the kit was priced at $20K and you needed a C5 suspension/chassis and a GMIII small block mounted mid ship.

BadKat....
...the company is AAT, they are in Detroit just a mile or so from the DC Museum....1-248-852-2900.....Steve Pasteiner(pronounced like pass-tyner) Sr. or Steve Jr......you supply your own C5 Vette conv. from '98 thru '04....choose the color combo you wish....just a couple of options available(both low dollar stuff)...and be patient for about 10-12 weeks.....I have visited their place several times and I am more excited to see this car return to my home than ANY car I have purchased in years...BAR NONE !!!....The conversion runs approx $30K....many people are sending them new Vettes with the window stickers still in tact....unbelieveable quality and the looks are outstanding.....I think this car will be like owning a Prowler in 1997, the excitement these cars create is unreal....I plan on having a second one done next year for myself to drive so I bought a donor car(2003 50th Anni convertable) a few weeks ago and using it as my winter rat for now....very nice people to deal with, take the time to visit them before you decide....there is also a web site for the "1953 CE" as they are called.........larry

Larry, isn't the straight six and powerglide tranny going to be a little gutless?

You did change that right?

GARYC.....GUTLESS !!! This car is being made for my wife "CRASH CAR ANNIE"....I am having the Blue Flame 6 pulled and replaced with a Pinto 4 cyl... a speed governor installed that tops out at 25mph and beepers for reverse.....I just hope the car lasts till spring time....that would be a record She damaged this car slightly when it had 900 miles on it and still had temp plates
