Usually I know what my answer will be while still reading the question. This week I had to consider all of the options because it is hard to pinpoint one thing that is the best aspect of owning the car. A very good question, Whealey. I went with the first choice and then saw I was the fourth to vote and the fourth that picked "Meeting up with old and new friends". The events are undoubtedly the best part of it, but cruising thru town or down a mountain side in a string of Prowlers (even if I am on a motorcycle or in a PT) is really a lot of fun, but hanging out in the lobby, or out in the parking lot or going to dinner with some of the gang is definitely the most fun. Again, excellent question Whealey. I am still struck by the fact that we showed up early at Pigeon Forge, only to find about 30 or 40 cats already there, with more pouring in the rest of the evening. I guess everyone likes to hang out with each other. I guess next week's poll could be a follow up question, "What event was the best ever"? We would have to list "all of them" as one of the choices. What a bunch of great memories. This message has been edited by ed monahan on 12-01-2003 at 02:06 AM

I agree Ed. Purple Lady and I decided we were going to the Turkey Run with or without our Prowler. Just to hang out with our old friends and to make some new ones.

Same here. All good reasons by I picked #1... I guess it would have been a cope out to have an "all of the above" as a choice... ------------------

For Lethia and I, #1 is by far the best answer. Driving the cats is a rush, but it's the owners' friendships that we all can savour and reflect in our MEMORIES ------------------

I have to agree. Seeing the looks on people faces when they see the Kat or better yet when they a bunch of them is a rush...but seeing old and new friends at a gathering is THE BEST! And every event no matter how big or small is great. Thanks POA for making so much available and letting everyone know whats coming up. SUPPORT THE POA!!!!!!!

Ed,Thanks for the comments on the poll question. For me, driving in a group of Kats was just simply the ultimate at any gathering. I'm with you that friendships are so much a part of the experience as well. I just don't think I'll ever expereince anything like that first time for me in Louisville being in a line of cats.
