September 27th 1998. It was the first day of my college career. Truth be told it was a bright and warm day and everything seemed perfect. It has been 5 years and 3 months since I have started college. I did the extracuricular "thing". I went to parties and goofed off. I wandered not knowing what I would be doing for a bit over a year. But the "time" has finally come. Not this Friday but next Friday the 12th of December...GRADUATION!!! I have inside me a feeling of not only excitement, but final accomplishment. Despite my pitfalls, I feel very proud to be finally achieveing this. Moreso then being a solid degree ( Business Economics ), it just feels good to say, " look everyone, look all you naysayers, I did it. This moment is mine and nobody else's). I don't know if it's pride in my degree, or just sincere pride in myself. Be it as it may, the time has come to finish this part of life. ( Only finals remain...gulp). Say a few prayers for me so I can pass all my finals and finish this part of life, and start a even better one. ( For me at least. )

I got final confirmation today. By word of mouth of Graduate Advisor, and Major Advisor, as long as I pass finals, I am set. It's good to know finally, set in stone, "what's what".

Congratulations on this great accomplishment. I can really relate to your situation.I remember all the pain and anguish of waiting for the day I received my BS. 10 years later I decided that I needed an MBA, so...I jumped in with both feet, not bothering to test the waters...I completely feel your fear and joy. May hurry up and get here, that is when I finish my last class.
