I was at my local DC dealer yesterday, my daughter traded for a new Jeep Liberty.....they received 2 of the first Crossfires anywhere....at first they wouldn't discount the cars at all...now several months later no one has bought either of the cars...they finally did a dealer trade on one(white 6 spd) last week....now they want to dump the black one....I didn't look at it close, but its highly optioned(black, auto) and they are willing to sell it for $1,000. under the greenslip price.....greenslip is what DC employees can buy their cars for.....call Goodwin Dodge...765-529-3780....ask for Ron Smith....sales manager....tell him the Viper guy sent you....in comparison, another dealer a few miles away still wants over sticker for theirs.....IT'S NOT SELLING EITHER

They are a very impractical car also like the prowler. I can't get in one. (Not Kidding)! I would have to wait for the Conv. So many similar size cars on the market a lot of competition. SRT-6 is coming Sept 2004 330 HP Supercharged------------------

What would $1000 under greenslip come out to pricewise?

Tom-How about the headroom in your Crossfire? I got in one at a local dealer last week and kept on adjusting the seat and couldn't get it where my head wasn't rubbing the top. With proper adjusting, I have headroom in the Prowler, but I couldn't get comfortable in the Crossfire. I may have been I just couldn't figure out the seat adjustment. ------------------

They are basically a Mercedes SLK with a fastback. I drove one (actually I rode, my wife drove). My wife didn't like the blind spots from the fastback. I like the look myself, but she went for the Z4 in the end.Mike

MSRP is $35,755....thru Monday the price is $31,171....after monday one of the DC rebates disappears and the price will increase $500. Still a good deal if you re interested in a Crossfire...
