beautiful day....sunny, warm.....errands....the kind of day you like to spend doing things.....attended a mid afternoon funeral for the daughter of one of my oldest friends....32 years old and gone to cancer....I can't imagine watching one of my children die over such an extended period of time....this was her second child to die from cancer while still very young....two daughters survive.....this evening our family celebrated my mother in laws 80th birthday with a big celebration at O'Charleys in Indy.....had a great time....lots of fun, jokes, new babies to see...all my kids there.....a day that I will remember as well as November 22, 1963.....great sadness and extreme happiness in the same day.....ain't life strange.....

Yepper, Larry, today 32 years ago I talked my father for the last time, he asked if he could come back home, I told him maybe it's better that you stay at the apartment. Monday took the Corvette to Dan Young in Broadripple everyone there was staring at me and couldn't figure it out. Went to the caddy dealership(ours) and the bomb was dropped on me, he was no longer alive then I had to tell my mom.

Today we talked about him and celebrated his life, this was the first time we did it. Its a good thing we are home in Indy.

Yes Life is strange and as My grandfather said, It's a great life as long as you don't weaken.
