If it couldn't be a Dodge winning the last Winston Cup championship, then I'm glad it was a Ford! JMO

CONGRATS to Ford, Matt Kenseth, Jack Roush Racing Team, and their main sponsor DeWalt. Consistency in finishing the races was their key to success.

Ditto--except for the Dodge part. Glad to see awesome Bill win one. I thought he was faded and gone, but yesterday's win proved he still has something left at his advanced age of 48. It will be interesting to see if he stays on or retires. I hope he stays another year.

Matt is a class act, can't wait to see the result at Homestead, that track is in its 3rd configuration, should be neat now.

Congrats to FORD, Jack and Matt.

I think the 12 car is cheating some how.

Yup-Jeffie finished a few laps down, caught by the fickle finger on the gas stops. Seems quite a few got caught this way. About Newman--what was the bumper car stuff in the straights about before Jeffie kissed his a$$? He shudda put Newman out, not just spun around. Things are getting tense at the season's end with the top 4 spots up for grabs.
Yes,Dodge has come a long way, not in a short time though. Been a few years hasn't it? Now if they could just keep the engine together in a super speedway event!

My congrats go to Matt Kenseth.

I was rooting for Sterling all year but it just wasn't his year. The one and only mod that I made to my prowler is Sterling's signature on the colored part of the dash.

I believe this is only the second year for Dodge. These cars are really all the same except for the motor and they aren't stock even close. Not like the good old days. Way to go Bill. Another observation. I don't care who you support seems like all the other drivers are dirty drivers except the guy you root for. I am guilty of this as well.

I don't think they would call it STOCK CAR racing if they weren't stock. I think some of them are right off the show room floor.

Actually, I believe NASCAR is controlled through internal politics and money. Next year Ford will be allowed to use their better heads,,,and will win more races. Then GM will bitch, and they will get better aero package. NASCAR needed to get the Mopar fans back into the stands, so they were given some advantages this year. It's a game to keep the manufactuer's happy and those big $$$ commercial ads on view to the public. This is a multi-billion dollar entertainment sport!!!

Soon, Toyota will be in the truck races. Do you see any Toyota truck push rod engines? Politics and cash, pure and simple.

Gar - Crest is already my main sponsor! I heard that you have signed on with Viagra for the next ten years,,,good thing for you!

Yeah, I'm sure they pay Michael Schumacher 42 million dollars per year because the support and fan base is dead. You must be watching too many old episodes of "Leave it to Beaver"
