1. The membership in the POA is the best “investment” I have ever made in my life. Without it I would not have met Duane “Prowler” Hanson who came up with tickets to my life long NFL team the Minnesota Vikings. With his help, my wife and myself made the game this weekend giving me the chance to finally see “my team’ live. Special thanks also go to Bob “Real Rod” Goetz for making the experience that much more memorable!

2. Minneapolis/St. Paul knows how to put on a football game. Including a “fair” in front the Metrodome to pass the time before the game.

3. Everything in the Twin Cities region is under construction! Seems everywhere we went, road and ground were torn up. Even the ground next to the Metrodome was torn up!

4. Anyone in the NFL will have a hard time single covering or cheating away from double coverage with Randy Moss. Each of his touchdown passes brought a gasp from me wondering what the heck Mr. Frerotte was thinking only to have fireworks going off in the end zone! I now know what “Dome Field Advantage” is! Also, the Viking look pretty tough … through 4 games.

5. Don’t let Prowler drive you from the Mall of America to the Airport! Especially with Real Rod doing the navigating. Unless you want to see a down the middle, wheel grabbing exit miss, followed by a turn around, followed by an exit miss again, followed by a turn around miss, followed by a Real Rod taking over of the wheel with Prowler in the driver seat trying to see if you can get the wheels squealing on a Stratus as you finally make the correct exit on the third try. (For those that don’t know, the mall and the airport are within 5 miles of one another) Needless to say, we didn’t tip them!

6. My wife will be able to handle any POA gathering. If she could sit next to Prowler and Real Rod and enjoy the game (even though she is a Dallas fan) as seen below anyone else would be a breeze!

Seriously thanks to Duane and Bob for a great weekend. What a cool time!

Bill it was great you could make it! to me this whole fan thing came to light and I live here and if Duane would not have offered up the seat I would have never gone, as I told you the last Vikings game I went to was at the Met were the Mall of America now sits. The pre game stuff outside was a blast, the guy sticking his head thru the picture of the Packers fan and letting people throw tomatoes at him was very funny. Fans wearing the Viking jerseys and painting their faces you would have thought this was the Superbowl! and if I remember right Duane said the stadium seats 64000 and the Vikings have 60000 season ticket holders! As far as getting lost don't feel alone! when Marty Usher was here it took us 20 minutes to get out of down town with no traffic. I hate the big city and only go when I have to. See you in November.
