Marc...
....the louvers are FINALLY on a Kat....had both Kats side panels "redone" today....will post pix soon as I get some .....
MOPAR Nationals....always a great time....weather cooperated for the most part Friday and Saturday....close to 20 Vipers in attendance, but few on the strip...think I had the only ACR there....only saw 3 Prowlers(didn't take one this year)....lots of vintage MOPARS on the strip as usual, HEMIS, wheel stands, Bill Mavericks "Little Red Wagon" ....the show field(judging) seemed a little thinner than usual....DC had several new "station wagons" on display(what are they thinking these days ??? ).....I quit showing for "the plastic gold" years ago, just go to observe and have a good time....my son in law usually entertains us all weekend drag racing his Viper, but they had other committments in Pa. this year.....another of our gang didn't make it at the last minute, he has a Viper GTS with 750 RWHP(quarter 10.08/148 mph) that coughed a few times last week, it is street driven all the time, I have driven this rocket, WHATTA TRIP !!!......we spent a lot of time in the tower courtesy of JEGS Performance watching the drags....some very unusual cars there for sale this year, one owner original type stuff....Brice Road cruising was curtailed to some extent but we did get the Vipers thru one time....major burnout sessions in many hotel parking lots, the sky looked like Bagdad with all the smoke...lotsa good food, and conversation with old friends.....some spirited triple digit driving on the way home and that is my report.....obvious why I don't write for any publications, huh

As a member and in the name of 3.5/42LE performance I'd just like to offer that we had a heck of a good time at the Mopar Nationals and got lucky enough to win 1st place in show judging with our M in the FWD Modified class and then won the Street Eliminator class in the drags after six elimination rounds which provided another plaque and a nice $750 payout check. Don't hold me to it but I think we were the only car to win it's class in both show and drags... definitely a cool weekend.

Bravo Mopar and 3.5/42LE performance!

THANKS!

This is a dual purpose post:

1) Thank you Bob & CJ for assisting Jackie and I with the F&F cert which will put a new bright silver '03 Dodge Ram 2500 5.7 hemi extended cab pickup in the driveway next week once the cap is in and on. We'll be towing to Mopar events in style now thanks to you and hope to find you at Woodward to thank you in person, keep the cell on and we'll buy a round

PS the 4.10 rear and anti-slip diff options should give it good dig off the line

2) Thanks guys for the congrats. We continue to hope to get down to Laddie's LA annual Prowler drags to meet more of ya but it looks like we'll miss this year due to the block being apart for beefing around that time, but thanks to Bob & CJ on the truck, and hopefully a new trailer by then we'll be much better positioned for next year.

PS I cover a lot of forums and this is by far the best there is.
