We finally removed Richard's FRONT bumpers last night. I did all the work and he went in and got his sweat band. Keep in mind the temp was about 70 degrees, it was 10 PM, low humidity and he has a compressor and attachments to get the nuts and bolt off. Honest injun, he put on his sweat band to watch me work.
Anyway, he put me in charge of getting it painted. What type of spray paint do you all use? Wal-Mart has some for 3 bucks a can and I figure that is good enough. Do you think Red bumpers will look good on his GRAY cat?
He also put his upgraded hitch on the weekender and now it works extremely well with the hitch plug.
P.S. I think he recently got a new computer and cell phone. lol

Thanks Ed, I am anxious to see the painted bumpers in time for the Smokies. Is Sandy still not talking to you? lol

Chartruse, wasnt it? Or did you decide on the olive green/pink polka dot scheme after all ?
I'm just NOT sure if it's gonna work with that pinstriping?

oh yeah... one other thing? What color was that sweatband?

Green, it may have been an old underwear elastic band. It was pretty ratty looking, too. Sandy came out of their house and saw Richard behind the car and asked where I was, and he said I was in the garage taking off his bumpers. He was probably downloading something on his Palm Pilot or putting numbers in his new cell phone. The other one was almost a month old. lol.
They are coming to Pigeon Forge and I don't want anyone harassing him. That is MY job. lol.

Ed - I see that you just put a set of Prowler front bumpers on eBay with a "low" reserve. I think I will go ahead and buy them at the "buy it now" price. Thanks!!!

You guys are killing me this hour of the morning.
The body shop just called and assured me they can fix that nasty crack in the right side. They said they will be ready in time for the Pumpkin Run in late Oct.
