Thanks to all of you who posted a "happy birthday" to AC.

After traveling 3,700 miles in twelve days on the road, the Alley Cat is napping and I'm working on finishing my 'vacation' work list: a. unpacking the vehicle b. laundry c. cleaning the house d. restocking the refrigerator e. thank you calls and emails f. watering the trees g. getting the old mail opened and bills paid h. AND,,,and, cleaning the bugs off and washing the Dakota!!!

The Alley Cat is good at delegating the work load 'after vacation'. Do any of you girls have the same list as I do?

WOMAN! We need to talk! You darn well better be kidding or A/C is in BIG trouble. Wasn't this trip HIS idea? to visit HIS family? HE should be the one unloading the car and washing it, if nothing else. I think a 50/50 split of chores is only fair.....come on now!

btw, hope you had a great trip.

Debbie, actually this vacation was 50-50. First we visited my parents, brother, and sisters' homes in Wyoming, and then went to Nebraska to visit Larry's family. My parents said that the Wyoming locals were trimming the sheep and I should send him out to the farms to get inline. BTW, he just got up from his nap and added two more items to my work list If I get my work done this week, I'll see you next weekend. Lethia

When did he ever say anything funny? I don't remember that. lol. Happy Birthday again and it is fitting that you have two threads wishing you a happy birthday since you took care of the birthday wishes for a couple of years.
Judy K. said the museum is in better shape than it has been in years (in spite of the fact it is less than a year old) due to your absence. She says that weird odor disappeared, also. lol
