Well, it has been a spell since you boyz have heard from the old man......

Seems that I have been a having some difficulties with some of my normal bodily functions. I have been having trouble regulating my vowels but at my age, it is to be expected. They are somewhat under control now so I thought that I would drop you a quick line and update you on the latest happenings.

Yesterday, the Indy milk sipper (Gary C) and, his new squeeze, gave me a call on the bell box and decided to come over and sit a spell. I didn’t know that the California Highway Patrol had allowed him back in the state.

In any case, he moseyed on over, sat on the porch, watched the trains go by and pounded a Bud with me while I sat in my tattered and torn underwear. What a great way to waste an hour.

Anyway, he looks fit as a fiddle and she was a charming Midwestern down home honey that paired good looks with a big smile and a warm personality. In short, he has dropped a few, firmed up his ambitions and met a wonderful match for his future old age.

He took me through the litany of vehicles that he now owns and all of the motorized appliances that he has recently purchased. I also learned about the hacienda that he has purchased and it sounds like a true castle.

He asked me to officiate at his wedding which is scheduled for February 1st during some year in the future. I had to decline as my advancing age, (117 in September) makes future commitments beyond one day a bit optimistic, but I did sanction their effort by passing some special gas.

I gotta run as my GI JOE original prototype just came in from eBay (I bought it for a mere $254K) and now I need to play with it. Lastly, my Hungry Man TV Dinner is a sizzling and popping in the microwave and I am fixing to eat it.

More to follow...

The Old Man
