The TiVo recdorded this a few days ago.Joe Rogan from Fear Factor flies into IL to visit a shop to build him a 'Cuda, he brought Chip Foose with him to design it. Awesome car!! They also had Joe testing some other hot rods that the shop had built and one was an AWD '32 roadster with a chevy small block: 0-60mph in 2.9 seconds. It did not look lilke they were going to replay this episode anytime soon so I hope you already saw it.

Joe Rogan's "Sick Fish" Cuda was built by Rad Rides by Troy in Manteno, IL. Trop Trepanier runs the shop which was build on to the rear of his fathers repair garage.During Power Tour last year, The participating Prowlers made a trip to the shop. Troy and Jack came in on Sunday and opened up to give the owners a personally guided tour. They had a bunch of really cool projects underway. The Quadra Duece that you described was out front when we arrived. The work that they do is absolutely incredible. Seeing it in progress gave you a better understanding of the craftsmanship that you don't see when the project is complete. Maybe some of those in attendance might care to share their feelings and observations.

Joe , should have gone with Chip Foose's paint design for the Sick Fish Cuda. I liked it better than the all silver. Troy built one of my favorite cars. The Sniper This message has been edited by BeWare on 02-10-2006 at 12:53 PM

Troy wanted to go with that paint design. Joe Rogan wanted a solid color. Too bad the original drawings were really distinctive. There is a "Build Book from Concept to Reality" on "Joe Rogan's 1970 'Cuda Sick Fish" by Team Killeen. Troy gave me one last year at Autorama. It's worth reading.

That was a great side trip for our first "road" day on Power Tour Bob!! It was great that you were able to set that up for us. I would love the sdee the finished 57 Nomad they had started and I am sure the car they are building for the Riddler Award will, no doubt, be in class of it's own. The original episode aired over 18 m on ths ago. The "Sick Fish" was on display last March at Autorama in Detroit. As nice as it is, it had planty of highend company on the showfloor at Cobo Hall. We drove a LONG way to go to troy's shop. But it was worth it. He had several COOL cars in process. I want to see the 69 Baracuda fastback with chopped top they were building for the salt flats. The 4 cylinder was expected to produce 1100 HP and looking for 250+. Troy and Family was a super nice and answered our questions and was a good host. here are some of my photos Troy, Bob & Frank The Shop

Larry - thanks for the pics! Yes we did drive a LONG way, but we got to drive with everyone on the first day of Power Tour and see all the Wisconsin people waving from the overpasses, which was pretty cool. AND we avoided downtown Chicago! I'll take the blame for the long drive, however - it didn't look that long on a map it was only 2 1/2 inches.

I would not go against a Chip Foose suggestion either! He can "steal" my Prowler anytime and do anything he wants to it!
