"AC, you're hung like planet Pluto, hard to see with the naked eye"

The Dung Beetle cartoon reminds me of one of the times I lived in Africa and observed the Dung Beetles.

They're pretty interesting critters. The male Beetle tries to find the dung of a black rhino (which are endangered). They will settle for the dung of a white rhino if they can't find black rhino dung. Anyway, they roll up a ball of dung, sometimes the size of a grapefruit or softball. They have to make their ball of dung real nice because females choose to mate with the beetle that has the nicest ball of dung. When she's ready to lay her eggs, she puts them inside the ball of dung. Then the male dung beetle rolls the ball of dung (while the female rides on the side of the ball, sort of looking like a hub cap). Then the male digs a hole in the ground and they push the ball of dung into the hold and cover it up so that the eggs can ferment until they hatch.

Too much information?
