the charts say it all.....two thumbs up for DC for coming up with inovative designs and quality products.... theses catch phrases mean more after looking at these "have you driven a Ford lately ? ".....no. "Like a Rock"......no kidding, stocks are worth dirt. "Is That a Hemi ? ".......yep, and its a big one !

In February of 2002, I took my son and set up a stock account for him with money he had in savings. He had saved monies from Christmas and birthdays given to him by family members. He was 10 at the time and opened an account with $1,000. After a lesson in the stock market and investing by my broker he decided to buy stock in 3 companies. Daimler Chrysler (cause the Prowler was our dream car at the time), ExxonMobil (cause I'm in the gas biz) and Jefferson Pilot (cause their hqtrs is here). Basis for DCX was 42.66 closed yesterday at 51.58, Exxon 42.40 - now 56.24, JP 52.15 - now 57.13. His dart board approach sure worked. Not much money, but a good lesson for him.

Ford stock took a dump due to the Firestone / Explorer roll over debacle and all the finger pointing. Went as low as $6.00 a share twice within a six month period. I don't know if they will ever recover. As a GM employee, I have a huge percentage of my so called retirement tied up in GM stock. I wonder how it tastes with salt and pepper?

Starting with the Crossfire and Pacifica, Daimler Chrysler went on to release something like 17 new and redesigned models over the next 3 years. Hemi is one of the most recognizable words in the entire world, and our fresh new vehicles have taken off. Let's see if I can do this...in no order...Pacifica, Crossfire, Stow N' Go van, Durango, Grand Cherokee, Magnum, 300, Charger, Wrangler Unlimited, Commander, PT Convertible, Crossfire Convertible, Dakota, SRT-10 Viper Truck, SRT-10 Viper, and a few more. I wish I had stock in Chrysler, but it's been an even better ride to be selling them. $$$$$$

GM doesn't even get the concept cars together...except for the SSR... the new Vette copied parts off the Viper...Ford developed this Mach III design in 1994... why they don't follow through with them is anyones guess.... At least DC brings the new ideas to life...
