Have any of you seen this around the country???

I saw it in a parade of homes house last spring and decided I needed one. Karen thinks I'm crazy... I installed it in my shop/garage/kitchen building in Hester... It swivels and extends to reach any pot on the stove... I've used it more for filling my coffee pot than Gumbo. Down here in Louisiana, a man can't have a garage without a kitchen... Actually, this will become our family kitchen for gatherings...

I have one in my kitchen. But here in New Mexico we just call it a "pot filler". I put them in some the homes I build.

We also call it a Pot Filler here in the midwest. I recently installed this model, but it doesn't fill the pots with Gumbo. I guess I shouldn't have bought it out of the trunk of a car.

Laddie - why else would you fill a pot if it wasn't for gumbo? :

Yes this is a "Pot Filler". I have been installing them for the last 4-5 years now. Alot of my High end builders use them. Very handy accessory for the kitchen.

You guys are just too hi-tech. Halicat and I just hook up the garden hose to the bottom drain connector on the 'hot' water heater,,,,to fill our gumbo pots. This also saves energy because the water is hot,,,,,and adds that needed ingredient for all quality gumbo >>> hard water sediment from the tank bottom.
